Relocating to Atlanta in a month's time

Hi all,

My husband and myself are relocating to Atlanta from South India for his work. His office is on [FONT=&quot]Suwanee street. Kindly let us know some good appartments (Preferably with Indians) near to his office. Also, are there any Indian stores near to this place?

Since we are relocating from India, would like to know the essential things (must carry items) to bring from India (for example: mixie, cooker, etc) ?

welcome to Atlanta!!! I have no idea about the location. Can you tell in what area this is?? That should help us in giving you some ideas.
But yes when you come here please bring the essentials as required by you , depending on how long you are going to be here.

1. Authentic cooking utensils from India like Cooker, idli plates, mixie from India. When you buy a mixie make sure it is 110V instead of the 220V.
2. Some sambar/rasam powder (for initial days).
3. Your favorite papads, any special masalas you use.
4. If you use any special Himalaya products you may want to get that as well. 5. Talcum powder and prickly heat powder if you need or use them.
6. If you are one of those obsessed with filter coffee, I suggest you get a filter and some coffee for initial use.

Indian stores these days have almost everything available here. So don't worry too much if you forgot anything. Will add more if I think of something.
