    Hello friends,
    Need your suggestions and recommendations urgently. We have a marriage in our extended family coming up in a few months and the grooms mom wants to purchase some nice Indian traditional clothes for bride, groom and as gifts for relatives. Problem is a quick trip to India is out of the question. Can you suggest any good reliable online shopping site with good variety which will deliver to US? I have heard now such websites are there and that they will even stitch the clothes to our measurements but no idea who or what so asking here as am sure some ladies will know. Please pour your suggestions. Thanks

    feeling really disheartened at no response. Please friends if you Can you help?
    If no online sites are good then can you suggest any Good store in us where my cousin can purchase the needed items? She is able to travel to Bay Area or LA area. Please let me know

    Is this wrong place to post such a query? Is there another place on this site to post such kind of query? I don’t know please you tell me where to put it.
    OR is it wrong thing to ask such question? I used to post here many years back and got good feedback that time but now no please let me know if there is a problem

    For reasonably priced ethnic wear try www.meenabazaar.com for women and www.manyavar.com for men. For high end designer wear check out www.perniaspopupshop.com and www.azafashions.com. All these websites ship to the United States. They will customize clothes to your requirements. If your cousin can travel to the Bay Area, there is a Meena Bazaar store in Sunnyvale. They also have a few other locations around the US. I have only purchased at their Indian stores so no idea how good the collections are here. There is also a Sabyasachi retailer in Los Altos if you really want to splurge. Their website is Pia Ka Ghar - Official Retailer of Sabyasachi Couture in the US.

    Sounds interesting. But I could not understand - is Shoppre an app? How does this work? Do they buy the clothes and ship them?

    There are many online stores like gocoop that ship internationally. Fabindia too does a good job. So do some of the sarees shops in south. Even cooptex ships internationally.

    There is gathakatha too. You may be surprised asking your area group in fb if there is one.. there maybe someone who sources and sells locally too..
