    Hi BeeAmma,

    Actually you can use bought out rice flour also to make Krishna Janmashtami recipes. But if you make rice flour in your house it will be so tasty and you can feel quality difference. when you prepare with "wash and dry rice powder" those snacks will come very nicely.

    well, you have to wash the rice for 2 - 3 times to remove the dirt in the rice. That is all no need to soak rice. Now drain the water and put the rice in a cloth under fan. NOT UNDER SUN LIGHT. Say 1/2 an hour to 1 hour.
    Let it retain some moisture. Then grind the rice in a mixer grinder and sieve and get good 'rice flour' use it for all snacks.

    ok ? cleared?

    Hi Harerama,

    (Very nice name :)) Stritily speaking you can use bought out rice flour. but it is good to use 'wash and dry rice powder' I explained how to make that powder in my last post. please go through it and try once again. But try in less quantity so that you will get confidence to make more. ok?
    And one more thing, follow the given steps;

    1. First clean rice flour, sesame seeds and even salt. Even a small mud particle make to bust the cheedai. so becareful and clean very carefully all the items. ok?

    2. Then the consistency of the dough - It should be thick than chappati dough.

    3. For Thirattupal, it depends upon the quantity and quality of the milk. But when you keep 1 lt milk you will get at least 250gms Thirattupal. From this you can guess the time I think. ok ya?
