Raw Peanuts and sugar candy offering to Godess lakshmi

Hi

could somebody tell me why people offer raw peanuts with sugar candy as prasadam to Godess Lakshmi ? is there a significance to this offering besides offering dry fruits ? appreciate if someone can help me in this regards.Have a good weekend.

Hi mtkm,

I dont know abt peanuts. Why we offer sweet home made things is everything should be sweet and good like those. Just a thinking. A pure heart and soul is more than elough for a paryer.!!! Keep posting in IL!!!!

Hi ssm014,

i came across such a thing that Goddess lakshmi's is depicted to white colour and she endeavoured for her sweet nature. So we offer white coloured sweets. I don't know how far i am true. Keep posting in IL!!!!!
