question on rental furnitures.share your exp...

Hi geet,
i have heard mixed reviews.Some are using rental ones without any problem.Some got bugs transferred to the home through these.So not sure.Do make an extensive check before buying.

 

Geet, Renting for 500 per month may not be such a good idea.You can furnish your whole house if you get a good deal in that amount. Find your local newspaper and in classifieds you can find used furniture thru yard sales ,garage sales. Also every city has a furniture outlet or something nearby which advertise good deals.Good luck.

Mixed reactions again, I have on this! One is bug problem.....and the other one is, if its gonna cost u $1000 for 2 mths. of rental...u'd rather pick it up on sale, and use it and sell it when u have to leave! Craigslist is a good place to put an ad. to get it sold!

We were in the same predicament, and ended up buying 2 Queen beds, with boxes, sofa set 5 pc. ,coffee table for 1150, on a sale, and had 15 mths. interest free to pay off!

The time is right now, look out for good deals on Black Friday! All the best!

 

Rather than renting, buy from craigslist.com listings for your city. You can find good deals there and then sell off when you have to move.
