Query on EAD

I am an employee of XXX company in India, now in US on L2. I have not resigned my job in India (on 6 months vacation)

Is it possible that I could apply for EAD ? (I will go back to India to resign my job in 6 months)

Pls clarify

Yes, You can apply EAD , Only details you need to provide for EAD are your I94 and any SSN number if you have and your husband's details.

So if I get an EAD now..and go to India to resign my job.
Will EAD become invalid when I come back immediately to US ?

Hi,

There will be an expiry date on EAD and EAD will become invalid on that date.

To come back to US , you will have to use your L2 Visa and your husband should be in US and still should holding L1 Visa. Immigration will check your Visa not your EAD and your EAD will be valid till expiry date
