Re: How to make soft Rava Laddoo? Hi, You can sprinkle some warm milk on roasted rava before trying to make them as ladoos.you can reduce the quantity of ghee and can use milk as a binding agent to make softer ladoos. But the shelf life of the ladoos made using milk is somewhat lesser when compared to the one made using ghee. Hope this helps.... pavi
Re: How to make soft Rava Laddoo? 1 cup rava 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup dry coconut milk -as needed ghee - as needed cashews, kissmiss, elachi first roast rava till it becomes warm. add coconut and keep it on for couple minutes. dont let the rava to go brown. add sugar and remove from stove. make elachi powder and add it to the rava mixture. fry cashews in ghee and add kissmiss at end. mix them with rava heat milk really hot and add it to the above mixture. the hot milk will make the sugar to melt and it will make the laddos very soft. finally add some more ghee after it cools down make laddos.
Re: How to make soft Rava Laddoo? Snigdha, My mom makes very soft rawa laddu. Here is the tip, She grinds the rawa and the sugar in flour mill and then adds ghee, cashews, elachi and makes laddu.
Re: How to make soft Rava Laddoo? Hi snigdha, samyal is correct. If you grind the rava in a flour mill, it will become very soft and the laddo also come soft. but if you dont have flour mill there, grind the fried rava in the mixer grinder and siev it. After sieving use that to make laddo. Hope this helps you. Please dont forget to give a feed back after trying.:coffee
