Hi, I'm a Economics Hons Graduate with distance MBA in International Business. I have been working in the banking sector in customer operations for the past 4 years. mahi, a BEd is a must to start with. check the university sites for the eligibilities. it's good to hear that you are preparing yourself well. in reality in some schools & colleges the english is so bad that you may feel that there is no expertise required to become a teacher of any subject except the requisite academic certificates. it doesn't mean that i am too good in english. best of luck.
Hi Mahima You need to have a B.Ed (Bachelor in Education) Degree to applying for teaching post. In addition you should have a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in the concerned subject - the subject you wish to teach. As you want to become an English teacher you can do M.A in English thru distance education.
