Puzzled Again!

He heard a sweet voice from the loud speaker and cursed. Sitting in an airport lounge for hours due to a delayed flight can make anyone feel that way. It would be more if the duration of the flight itself is less than the hours of delay. He just closed his eyes and tried to sleep.

And for no reason, he could see her. He was not sure whether it was a dream or not, but it looked so real. "10 years!", he murmured. Of course there had been a love story, an unsuccessful one where each of them had their own share of mistakes. It was extremely painful then, for both and over years, he came out of it. Tilldate, he felt that he could never understand her. "What did she find in me to shower her love in the first place?", he thought. "And why did she leave me later even when I was ready?", he ended knowing fully well that he was responsible for that too. Now he didn't even know the whereabouts of her, though he knew that she too had married.

A flight just descended then and there was some commotion. He was watching the stream of people coming in. And was shocked a bit when someone touched him from behind. He turned to see her. "Unbelievable!", he thought, but was speechless. She smiled, shook his hands and then said "Sorry!". When he came back from his daze, she was not there.

"Always a puzzle!", he said to himself and smiled.

I can assure you that it is, Pallavi. And I asked him that difficult question: If she comes again, would you like to see her or not?.
And yes, what you mentioned is right. Some questions remain.
