    Dear ChitVish,

I like the 9. Now I know why some of my friends are jealous of me because my parents and in-laws live in different cities ;-)

    Keep them flowing,

    Regards

    Good ones

Dear Chitvish,, Those were real lovely ones. I too have conjuntivitis... I did not dare to touch the computer yesterday because of the headache and eye pain. But somehow, a Monday without looking at those lovely pazhamozhis.... is not worth spending.. Today I am feeling much better.

For the friend who has conjunctivitis, please try and get Thripalaathi Chooranam from Naatu marundhu shop. Put one spoon of the powder in plain water and boil for 2 mins. when it comes to room temperature, just filter it and slowly wash your eyes with that water. It cleans up the eyes also giving a cure to conjunctivitis. You can ask other members of the family also to apply the same as a precaution. I tried it out yesterday and feeling good today.

Great Collections, this time too !

    Dear Chitra,

As usual, another great set of 20 proverbs....I enjoyed most of the proverbs a lot this time....very few of them I have heard before....you are specalised in selecting the best of proverbs and posting here.

Proverb 1 - how true ? manier times we do things more to satisy "others" and fail to satisfy ourselves !

10 - This proverb we use at home quite frequently to refer to our cousins (school going kids) who are very smart and handle their parents more tactfully... kids of today's generation are the one's mostly apt for this proverb.

14 - this is sad reality for some parents (mostly deprived of children love) nowadays.

3- good one chitra, tells us 'only hard work pays'....lazy ppl like me, deserve reading of this proverb many times in a day, to become active ! :)

    Thanks for the wonderful collection...!

    Love,
    Preethi

    My dear Sudha !

You rightly said 5 is similar to
    But, here, the emphasis is on the " காசு பெறாத கணவன்" !!!
Another one similar to 17 is

Thanks for regularly joining us here, Sudha !
    Love,
    Chithra.
