    Last year my granddaughter was studying in LKG. In the first term test she got first rank .
    I told her "you are studying very well; tell me what you want . I will get you that ".

    She said " Maruti car ".
    Haa !?!?!?

    i had asked for a wooden almirah from my maternal grandpa! dont knw why...still the whole maternal side teases me.
    was gifted godrej one for my marriage.!

    Giving a godrej cupboard , as a gift, by parents, on the occasion of marriage is a normal thing.
    In which class were you studying when you asked for a wooden almirah?
    You could have asked for keeping your books, notebooks, bag,lunch bag etc.,
    Quite reasonable !

    i dnt even remember the incident! forget the class...they just tease me.
    my nani gifted that along with other things specifically with a note "as per your first ever demand "
    i was quite studious child..so i would like to think that must for my books and study stuff.

    they are the best! i just feel sometimes so bad that how can i ask something so blatantly.

    Be it Maruti or Mercedes , I searched the platform shops, got a remote car for about 200 Rupees and presented it to her.
    I was happy to watch her childish exultation on receiving the toy.
    All is well that ends well.
