    These are some really good tips Puni.

    Another way to promote your products would be to just invite friends over for Chai and show them your products.

    Put some brochures, etc in your local Indian store.

    BTW are you planning to import from India or you are going to sew by yourself ? are you panning to open a shop ? or selling through frends / net work.

    if you are opening a shop

    basic cost ( including labout, import tax, maintanance, electricity etc ) ( INR 2000 / $ 36) + investment ( 5 - 10 % ) + margine (20 - 30 % ) = selling cost.

    if you have paln to sell through frends net work you can avoid 5 - 10 %
