    I was taking folsafe when i was in India.....Now i dont know what to take here in US....Please get me the name of some prenatal vitamins which will be availbale in walmats or walgreens....I am new here..Need to search for the hospital also...

    Hi Ladki1.. My dr suggest me Pregnitude( Folic acid ).. this is good , u can try this..
    u can order this through online in walgreens..

    Naturemade u can get it from walmart or walgreens.. but pregnitude u could order from walgreens through online..

    OP, Any prenatal even store brand is okay if it has DHA and Folic Acid. That's what my Gynec told me before conception and when we were trying. Look behind any prenatal tablets pack in store. If it has DHA and folic acid as ingredients then that shud work. Good Luck.

    Thanks chocolate for such a nice description......i have taken one folic acid tablet..it contains only folic acid 400mg.....i need to take another one...one question...this folic acid is white colour tablet...what i was tking in India it was capsule with red colour...both r same or what....

    Hi,

    I was told by my doc tat atleast we need 800-1000micrograms of folic acid.. did u meant 400mcg, if yes it might be a lil low. If u meant 400mg, i thnk you should be good then. All the best n take care!
