There is going to be a potluck kind of thing at my workplace, which is a mixture of Americans, Indians etc. Some people do like spicy, indian food; but others dont. I need some ideas for preparing potluck dish (indian/fusion/american/italian etc.) for some 30 people. Also, it should be easy to carry, and make ahead that I can make the previous night. Please throw in your suggestions ladies! Oh yes, I am a vegetarian, so only vegetarian recipe ideas please....egg is okay though Thanks a toN!!

Hey Geeta.. I would have suggested gulab jamuns and samosas as I have seen many of my American co-workers liking them.. but no frying huh?? How about veggie fried rice, paneer butter masala and rasmalai (using ricotta cheese, its easy to make)?
Pakoras? As a reference of vegetarian dishes that can be used with Westerners, I recommend Linda McCartney's (she was the first wife of musician Paul McCartney...the one who died) World of Vegetarian Cooking. Lots of pure veg recipes based on her travels around the world.
