World peace brings the image of children of different cultures holding hands on a globe in my mind with a slogan
"Peace is the way, Peace is the key, for a better world for you and me".

“Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding.”

Ask your kid what he understands by 'peace'. Ask him/her to pour that out in a drawing. Then you drive your own slogan using nursery Rhymes or advertisements

When my DS was in preschool, the school sent a pretty little craft they made for a different occasion and I thought of it when I read your post.

Using craft foam, shape your child's hands and cut it out.
Using a blue craft foam, cut out a circle for Earth
Then using green, create some continent shapes. You could use color paper as well I guess.

Then glue them all together with Peace saying in the center of the Earth on a different color foam and a quotation at the bottom.

If you are going to use an entire poster, perhaps you can use this craft in the center and fill the poster that mean peace to your child.

Here is a juvenile drawing of what I had in mind :hide: Hope it helps.....

Or instead of Earth with continents, you could also use peace symbol for earth and write earth in the center instead of peace.
