    Hi All,

I have learnt Tanjore painting in Bangalore but the teacher did not teach me the minute nuances....I want to know the consistance in mixing the poster colours. While painting either it becomes too thick or too watery...the brush strokes becomes visible therefore...please let me know how to correct this mistake.

    Hi,
I also do Tanjore painting though I am not an expert in it.I make it thin & when painting don't use pressure. And you have to give 4-5 coats. Paint, wait for it to dry & give the next coat. Happy painting.

    hi
I am doing Tanjore paintings, one thing you should not mix to much of water and it should be medium and after making one coat after drying you can apply one more coat that depend on even ness of the painting on whole surface. the thickness of the paint you have to judge, it should not be too watery.

    regards
