Dear ladies, Please help me. Aren't there palces worth to visit in Pondicherry. We are from Trivandrum. Many of our firends here told there arrn't much places whihc would be of interest for us in Pondicherry. There are only mainly beaches over there. Is it? Can we have a good shopping for dresses, mobile etc.. Our children are aged 18 and12. Can they have some fun over there. Please give me a reply soon.. Dear Maam, Yes you are right pondi has got very nice beaches. Apart from this there are some old french colonies where the building architecture is worth seeing. You can go to Auroville too. HALF OF THE DAY IS REQUIRED To visit auroville. It will be more fun if you stay at some beach resort coz many activities are arranged there for the entire family and its very cool to spend the early mornings at beach. FOR CLOTHS ETC there are many good shops in main pondy market its near to the Mhatama ghandhi statue I think the road name is MG road. I think Mobile can be purchased from any where. But am sure you kids will enjoy the trip.
