In India it is a culturally mandated requirement to use one of these.

I think every mom and grandmom had one of those full of needles and threads and assorted buttons! Nary a cookie in sight. : )

Jokes aside, this looks promising - Luxja Sewing Accessories Organizer

OMG that dreaded cookie box! Those butter cookies were too plain for my palate.

I like this organizer very much!

Buy a sewing box from walmart. They are wooden + fabric batting and very old fashioned. They are bit pricier and my dream kit. ..will buy one soon. I recommend not to go smaller size.

YOu can buy more modern plastic ones - called crafts organizer and cheaper (also from walmart).
Also i use lot of cookie boxes, candle boxes.
Not just India, here as well, old grandmothers or crafters use same. Note that people who craft for food, may not earn that much and also believe in recycle and money save, no matter which culture or country.

I am thinking towards clear, see through.

I trued recycling used boxes but I forget what I put in there.

Now I am trying to use Google sheets to create inventory. Perhaps then I can recycle some old, sturdy boxes to organize, and I have free technology to tell my where certain supplies are!

yeah but cookie box as sewing kit brings back some interesting childhood memories!
