Shilpa, don't worry. My older son didn't talk until 3 years old. My MIL took him to Annai Valaknni kovil ( Christian), Hindu temple etc. Someone suggested that she should take him to Mosque . She did it too. Over there Immam ( head priest) wrote something in his tongue. He started talking after that. We were not in town when she took him to Mosque. My family is traditional Tamil Iyers, but when it comes to our children, we don't care about the religion. Jut pray to any God. I will join with you. My second son had similar problems too. Yes I agree to you religions go beyond when it comes to kids and I enter all places of worship from my childhood with the same feeling as I will for my temples.
