    hi
i feel it is always good to take a second opinion if u r new to the place where u are living.
but why did ur doc ask not to take wheat actually it is very good as per my knowledge.
u can take lots of fluids like buttermilk ,juice.
please drink atleast 8 glasses of water per day u can take sprouts
daily drink one glass of milk
try to eat atleast 2 portions of fruits daily
    its just my opinion
    all the best

    Dear roochee,

The diet that you have mentioned is too restrictive as your bmi comes as normal range.. Excluding wheat and rice?? Practically then you don't have much Indian food that's left out.

Please take your reports and get a second opinion from another doctor.

Also was wondering, if the male factor is ok?

Roochee, first of all don't take too much stress as it doesn't help while ttc I know it's easy said then done, doesn't look like you are over weight, no need to be on strict diet but yes be active by doing some walk/jog etc it really helps in the blood circulation in our body and helps to reduce stress level also.

I agree your boilogical clock is ticking but you are trying only since last 6 months. Doctors say without any medical history it takes 6 months to 1 yr to conceive. So just stay relaxed.

Don't worry about others questions, it's your life and your plan so when someone asks just give a smile and say when it will happen I will let you know or not planning yet or something to divert the topic. Some really care for you so ask and some ask to poke in your personal life, so you know who are from which category and answer accordingly.

Loads of baby dust dear !!!!!

    Hi Roochee
I was also diagnosed with pcod six months back. I was prescribed with the same set of medicines. I too have a regular periods. So I did not want to take oral contraceptive. I started eating Lot of Indian vegetables and avoided maida. Also I stopped eating ouside n avoided foods which has artificial color or flavour. I did not omit rice. I take rasam daily. You have regular periods. so don't worry. Oral contraceptive pills will not cure pcos. After following all this for last 4 months, I am pcod free now. My cysts have gone. If u want the recipe of rasam, pls let me know.
