    Dear balaaji ,
    if the gods can curse jayadrath and ganga for a simple laugh mumbai police are but human.
    What with moral police taking up self proclaimed roles all over india they were feeling left out and wanted a piece of action for themselves . Being in mumbai they are also learning publicity stunts from bollywood.

    Stillwaters I suspect they are playing moral police because of their inability tackle politically well connected criminalsand by going after comedians they want to show to the public that they are doing something---they are keeping their morals intact even if they are incapable of keeping their life and property safe.
