    Hi ladies me and my hubby are planning to buy a home in bay area. We are looking into san francisco.san jose,pleasanton,fremont.
    i am on h4 ,so out budget is 7k.
    Is any one living in castro valley? how do you find living there.
    please suggest any other areas. we are looking for good schools and walk score some what walkable.

    Hi, what exactly is your budget? Did you mean 700K?

    Redfin.com is a good database of homes for search. The biggest issue with buying a home in the Bay Area is to make sure you have enough money to put the money down. With home prices already being on the higher end, putting the entire 20% down may be a little difficult, unless you have it all planned out. There are of course other loan options where you don't have to put the entire money down, but will be subject to a slightly higher interest rate.

    hi yes the budget is 700k. we are looking homes on zillow,redfin. but could not decide the area yet. how is castro valley to live?
