Places to visit in Washington DC

    Hello
    Can you please recommend places to visit in Washington DC? I have my old parents with me but was planning to take them by metro or foot. They did not enjoy the tour buses last time but I am not sure if by foot/metro will be too hectic

    Can you recommend if that is a good option? Also what are the must see places... obviously I know we cannot cover the whole of DC in a day..

    Best option when travelling with parents in a city is to take the City tour, they take to everywhere and u can enjoy the whole city without worrying about seeing the maps or parking etc.
