Hi all, Pls anyone tell me about the places to visit in penang... I am going there for few days.. What i can buy from there..????? :cheers
Penang is a historic place, once you get there get a map of penang from there and it will have all the tourist attractions around. Its a small town and its walkable. There are a lot of chinese temples and Chinese mansions there.The old 18th century mansions are mind blowing. We had been to * Fort cornwallis * Peranakan Mansion * Many chinese temples around, saw a chinese play there as well * There was a penang food festival going on near the Cheon Fatt Tze mansion We stayed at the Cheong Fatt Tze mansion and roamed around the place. It was a wonderful experience to stay in the heritage site in Penang. Places we missed were in Penang hill and the flea market -Nemo!
