Places to visit in Maryland during Summer

Hi Friends,

Please share your list of places to visit in Summer. I am not going to include monuments,museums & Aquarium in this list as these places can be visited during winter.

1) Brookside Gardens (Wheaton Regional Park) it has a lovely butterfly park and a beautiful garden

2) Lake Needwood for boating
3) Seneca Creek State Park
4) Maryland Zoo in Baltimore.
5) Annapolis harbor.
6) Washingtonian center to see ducks. My son excited to see ducks.
7) Splash Playground in South Germantown Recreational Park
8) Gaithersburg Water Park at Bohrer Park
9) Six Flags in Maryland
10) Butlers Orchard during Strawberry picking.

I am not very familiar about places in Baltimore, Columbia, Ellicott City and other places in Maryland. If you know any interesting place to visit please add it here.

If you are interested in watching outdoor free movies/concerts the place to visit is Rockville Town center. Parking is free after 7:00 pm during weekdays.

Nice to see your reply. I live in Rockville. Before that I lived in Flower hill in Gaithersburg. I am also looking for a playmate for my 4 year old son during week ends.
