From Siri Fort, you can go to the Chiragh-i- Dilhi Dargah. It is located in the Chirag Delhi village. It houses the cenotaph of Nasiruddin Mahmud, the Sufi saint. The village of Chirag Delhi has grown around this tomb. It was earlier surrounded by broken rectangular walls with gateways on each side. These were built by Muhammad Bin Tughlaq.
Nasiruddin was known as Raushan Chirag-i- Dilhi which means the “Illuminated Lamp of Delhi”. The saint passed away in the year 1356.
Presently, the shrine compound has the Assembly Hall (Majlis Khana) and the Symposium Hall (Mahfil Khana), besides the tombs of distinguished men.

Siri Fort itself is a popular tourist attraction.
It was built by Emperor Alauddin Khilji. This fort city was built in 1303. Meandering walls on Khel Gaon Marg protect the Siri Fort in the southern and western directions. These walls are built of rubble.
It is believed that heads of about 8000 Mongol soldiers were buried in this city. In Urdu “Sir” means “head”. Hence, the name of the fort city.
Siri Fort initially had palaces and many other structures. It had seven gates. Presently, what remain of the fort city are the southeastern gate and some ramparts and citadels.
