Hai, my hubby got some beautiful pictures of the Vivekananda Rock and Thiruvalluvar Statue in Kanyakumari. I have been wanting to post them for all of you to enjoy. Only now I have mastered the method. Enlarge and view them, you will be stunned by the granduer. Many other pictures follow. With warm wishes, varloo
Here is the second picture. Surrounded by sea on all sides, this looks so very majestic. With warm wishes, varloo
Wow Dear Varloo, 1000 handshakes for your husband to have taken such wonderful snaps and another 1000 for you to have posted them. I am getting all memories rekindled. We were in Tirunelveli when I was 10 and whenever relatives visit us we used to go toTiruchendur and Kanyakumari quite often. And whenever dad accompanied us he took snaps. But it seems due to time the negatives have gone bad and the snaps are also missing due to transit and transfers. I wanted to show pictures of those places to my daughter and when I came across these I was so thrilled. Thanks a lot
Dear RajmiArun, thanks for your compliments, but my hubby had not taken these photos. He got it forwarded from a friend. And I am so happy that you enjoyed them and also showed it to your daughter. I am always fascinated when I visit the Rock. And these photos bring out their granduer well, doesn't they? If possible, enlarge them and view, they are fantastic.
Good picture Varloo Dear Varloo, The pictures were breathtaking and thanks for posting them. Brought back memories I have visited Kanyakumari when I was a kid. We are planning to visit when we come down to India so my son can have a glimpse. Simply splendid. Love,
