period like pains-plese help

Hi IL's
I am having PCOS and I am TTC from 1yr. Last month I got my periods on 1st of October. I am using metformin and APCOD for PCOD. From last 3 days I am having period like cramps. which comes for ever 1-2 mins stays for 1-2 seconds and goes away.
Generally before period I have my left leg paining and sore breast. I am having them now also, but this sharp period like pain , i am unable to understand...
Should I visit gyne or should i wait till my period comes? please suggest and any idea about this pain?does any one experienced?

Hi dear,

if you have sharp shooting pains, please go to the doctor immediately. Sharp pain is a symptom of an ectopic pregnancy. Please do consult your gynec immediately

Hi Guesshoo,
But today i did a pregnancy check ( i know its too early) but its negative.
So still we can suspect this?

I am in day 28 of my cycle, generally its 30 day cycle.

Hi Madhavi...Since you have 30 days cycle, I would suggest that you check with your doctor and if need be get a beta done. While a HPT may not show things, the beta will. Based on the beta result, implantation can be identified or ruled out.

Alternative, if you think you can hold up for 2 -3 days, do the HPT on the 31st day and then head to your doc for the above.

Anyways I am not so lucky to hope for pregnancy yet! I don't know when that lucky day comes for me in my life.But still i hope best to happen. I took off these two days so that i can take some rest at home and wait till 2-3 days and then visit the doc.

Madhavi,

just wait for few more days and take HPT . If the pain a unbearable then visit your gynic else in the next visit do inform her about this pains .
dear don't give up till you see BFP. We will have our day and it's not too far too... May be for you it could be this cycle too... Cheer up girl..
