"Paush Parbon"- the winter food festival is comming soon for Bengalis

    Hi Friends,

    This is Alakananda .Iam new here.
    How much of you know about "Paush Parbon" festival of the Bengalis...but it is not at all confined among the Bengalis because it is totally based on food...which anyone can make it...mostly its a festival of sweet.
    The type of sweets being made is
    1.Pithe(you can say its a bengali Pie)
    Gur Pithe(jaggery pithe)
    sedho pithe(boiled pithe)-its a kind of dumplings you can say
    2.Patisapta(a sweet dish made from rice floor)
    3.Narkel NAru(sweet from coconut)

    I have made most of them at home...
    I will attach the pics which I made at home only...
    And if anybody wants to try with these awesome bengali sweets ...I can help them with the recipe too...

    Nice of you to share info on festivals and the sweets associated with it as like me may be not many are aware of it.
