Patch work cushions

    1. Grey and black combination is applique work
    I use my singer fashion maker with zigzag stitches to secure the edges where ever required and then finish the cushion cover.
    2. Blue with colored patches
    Cut the fabric of your choice and design (I have used colorful square shaped patches left out from my previous work - diwan set shown in the picture).
    Place them as you wish on a plain fabric and secure the edges. I placed the fabric as shown ( you can use some pins to keep them intact) and then have put straight stitches. Finally secure the edges where ever required with zigzag stitches and then finish the cushion cover.
    3. Diwan set - typical patch work
    Cut the fabric of your choice into equal sized rectangles or squares, join the squares to form a strip and then join the stripes to form like a running a cloth ad then use it to stitch the cushion covers, bags, sofa backs or anything you wish.
    Use your creativity to get new designs.
