i usally dose off for 3 hrs in flight due to shopping + excitement of packing etc .

Then i wake up and plan my trip how to do AND what to do.........

Then i read some magazines and time flies -----in between meals will take 30 mts twice

I usually carry motion sickness pills (the one that is NOT the non-drowsy one). I use them on the long flights like to India and take one after my meal. Sleep like a log. No hangover or drowsiness after the sleep. After that I will watch movies or have the next meal.

Do you ask for the vegetarian meal? YOu can order that for your flight through the airlines. My experience is the veg meal on domestic flights in USA is just boiled veg with no spice and of course to India it is fine. If you are flying domestically I would lighten the load by just bringing somethign to spice it up or just suffer plain veg for a few hours.

    hey all,

thanks for all your tips and advices :)

my flight journey was good.... kept having apple juice and orange juice at regular intervals to keep myself from de-hydrating...

also, it really helps to carry travel size lip balm, moisturizer, face wash, toothpaste so that u can freshen up whenever u want..

carried a gud book and lots of fav music...

I had booked a hindu meal so food was not a problem too..

well, have another long flight coming up after a week so am better equipped now :)

thanks to all the lovely ladies,
    elmo
