usually oil paints are used for nib painting and u need to get a specific nib for this sort of painting from the craft store.:thumbsup

Usually i used to use the used ball pen bottom, show it near the candle,lightly melt then stick the nib to it and let it rest for a while[this is if you don't have the attachment for the nib].
for the round nibs i got the attachment to it so i just have to insert it.

Hi Friends, I am totally new to this thread & post, but let me tell you believe it or not I had also tried this on black velvet paper & then framed it on a cardboard. Seude cloth is slightly costly than velvet paper. I had done this long long back during my college days..maybe sometime back in 1992. I wish I had taken pictures of the same.
