    Re: Fabric Paintings more paintings

    Asha,

    Fantastic !! Perfect!!

Are u doing this on wet fabric or on dried cloth. B'cos recently one of my friends told me that wet fabric is easy for shading.

However you've done a great job. Waiting to see u more and more from u

    Regards,

    Triza.

    Hi! Triza,

I paint on dry white cloth.I first wash the cloth to remove the starch and then dry it in the sun, iron it and then paint on it.Like I said last time,I use extender which is a colourless liquid.Try any paint shops for extender. It'll help you to spread the paint well and do your shadings as well.

I've added more paintings this morning on to the thread which I've made.

    Keep in touch.

    Hi Asha

I missed this thread totally. Today only I have seen this thread. Fantastic is the only word I can say. They look like as if they were embroidered. Really really marvelous. I also do fabric painting, but I am not a master as you. I am also interested in embroidery. You can see some of my works in Embroidery works thread.

    Do post your works.

    Love

    Asha,

I don't know whether u are familiar with "hand marbling". You'll get so many sites from net to learn this. It's a basically a painting technique. i tried this many times and came out well. Unfortunately i don't have any photos to share with u. Also u can find for some " one stroke painting techniques" This also is quite intereseting.

    Hi! Triza,

Yes I love marbling. The best effect of marbling is with handmade paper. Its excellent. It's best to keep the kids busy with marbling.Do think of other form of art and be in touch.
