How is the married life among couples in the American society different/same from the Indians??? Please explain your analysis. I would be very glad to read all the posts.

I can give some pointers to this topic. Please elaborate. I know it is different for each family but let us limit this to generalization and not go into details.

    Domestic life and raising kids
    Intimate life
    Financial responsibilities
    Inlaws/extended family relationships

I think the biggest difference is the level to which Indian parents interfere in their ADULT children's married life. It's really a bad aspect of our culture and causes way too much problems. Plain and simple, that level of interference rarely happens in American couples married life.
