    hi to all...
    The book club didn't catch fire like I expected, still i would like to give it another try. I see lot of people are interested in making this group active. This time i would chose the book and post the questions as its already 10th of July. From next month onwards we can have a better and disciplined way of choosing the book.

    I have choose Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. For lot of reasons, one being its one classic that everyone would have read or seen in big screen.Two one can easily grab a copy either online or from local library or a book lover would have a copy. All are more than welcome to take part,the more the merrier.

    This is a classic that can be discussed exhaustively and also i am giving a link for the download of the ebook for those who do not have a copy.

    This is a good idea. Many a time I'm at a loss to know what books to read. If you can share your views on a book, it will be a great help to readers like me. Also I'd like to know about the Indian fiction writers . I read mostly non-fiction. I'm currently reading 'Layman's guide to Gita' by A.S.P.Aiyar. This book explains a lot of symbolism in Mahabharata.

    hi maddie....
    even i hv registered long back...i started to be active in indusladies very recently...i 'll luv to join ur online book club..i hv read khaled hosseini's both the books..."the thousand splendid suns" and "the kite runner".yes..i wont say its fantistic or something....but once we start to read it...we'll finish it at the earliest..that touching the stories....am recommendin it for everyone 100%.
    also...lately am interested in self help books..if we put our wholeheart to read it,am sure we'll all find that perpetual bliss,whatever ups nd downs come our way of this life journey.the one I recommend is "let the power be with you"written by shivi dua.
    ok maddie...hope we all 'll hv fun here as well as exchange and express our ideas and perspectives on all aspects of life.take care.
