Now a days when both husband and wife go out for earning and work hard for future generation parents are the one left out. Most of us want parents (own or inlaws) just like side dish. We need them to look after our children till chidlren grow up . the situation becomes worser if one of the parents is bed ridden. Becoming old and depending on others is the main problem faced by the society now
UN estimates that India will have the world's largest geriatric population by 2050. I sincerely hope to have departed before that. The problem is that while mortality has decreased, morbidity persists. We live longer, but not in good health. It is a major problem not only for the individuals but society and the governments.
