O Man Who Desires War Kiratarjuniya is considered to be the most powerful poem in Sanskrit. This is written by Bharavi, one of the great poets of around the 6th century. It is about the war in Mahabharata. One of the verses is called sarvatobhadra, "good from every direction". The letters remain the same when you read the verse Horizontally from top to bottom. Horizontally from bottom to top. Horizontally in the reverse direction from top to bottom. Horizontally in the reverse direction from bottom to top. Vertically downwards from left to right. Vertically downwards from right to left. Vertically upwards from left to right. Vertically upwards from right to left. Translation: "O man who desires war! This is that battlefield which excites even the gods, where the battle is not of words. Here people fight and stake their lives not for themselves but for others. This field is full of herds of maddened elephants. Here those who are eager for battle and even those who are not very eager, have to fight."
