    Hi all

    My son is 18 months old.

    I have a few questions regarding playschool.

    1) What is the age when a toddler can start playschool?

    2) Do all playschools here require registration much before hand.Apple Tree play group is registering for Jan classes

    3) Can anyone tell me good play groups near Jurong West/Boon Lay?

    Thanks a lot for all the info...I am relocating to singapore in May and was quite worried abt my lil boys school. He is 3 and 1/2yrs , goes to a montessori in bangalore and i wanted montessori form of edu for him ....
    Indus Ladies forum is very helpful indeed...hope to meet you ladies when i reach singapore

    Hi all ,

    I need ur suggestions abt school for my daughter (3 1/2 yrs old) . I m in chennai now n moving to singapore by March. (I dont know the area whether west or east). She is studying her nursery in Kidzee here.

    In Which class i have to put her, Nursery or KG1?

    Please help me friends.

    I need this information ASAP, since just two months to go.

    My son is studying in K2 & going to Khalsa Kindergarden by school van from sengkang. i guess they reach in about 1/2 hr to school.

    Are you staying in sengkang? plz feel free to PM if u need any more details.

    Hi,

    I have recently moved to Tampines, Singapore. I have a 3.5 year old daughter.

    I tried her admission in PAP, but they said children over 4 years are eligible.

    I need to put her to school. Should i put her to DPS or could you suggest a good school in the nearby area.?

    I have heard about salvation army. Dont have much idea.

    Any help in this regard would be great.

    Hi San,

    If your child was born in 2007, then she can get into nursery in any PAP or private kindergartens that have the jan to dec calander year. Only for K1, the child must be 4 complete. Maybe the PAP that you enquired had only K1 and K2. You can check with other PAPs that have Pre-Nursery & Nursery in that area.

    Indian schools have apr-may calander year and you can check their websites for age eligibility for admission.
    You can check the this link to find a list of kindergartens in your area.

    My child is Jan2008 born. I did go to PAP in Blk 140. They said they dont have prenursery.
    I want to know as per the age of my child which class she will get admitted to?
    What N1, K1 and K2?

    If your child's birthday is not Jan 1, then she will be eligible for prenursery this year. Here is the list of other PAP centers in your area. If your child is born on Jan 1, then she is eligible for nursery this year.

    But she has already done her prenursery in India. We will be going back to India next year, what could be the best option for her in such a case?
