Never expect anything esp baby, it will happen naturally unexpectedly, like Raj said if u keep thinking abt it, u wil end up in stress only. So relax, if needed go for a vacation or divert to some other work, it will click automatically. First meet an ob-gyn to regularise ur periods. Keep trying and u said u have been trying only for a couple of months!! So dont get depressed okkkk

    Dear Raj and Sanravi,

Thank u so much for the wishes and advice.

When I had posted that mesg, I had mentioned I was late that month for my periods and luckily for me, it clicked that month. Of course u can guess how excited I was. I know I was married for just a year and had just ttc 2 months before. But since I was 30, I dint want to postpone any longer. Well, curretnly I just moved out of my m/s and am beginning to slowly enjoy my pregnancy. :p

Thanks again for taking the time.

    Cheers,
    Asha

    Re: Question about intimacy

There are some jelly like KY that is a lubricant to make sex easier. Also consult with a OB/GYN .Even I was scared for the first time.

    Re: Question about intimacy

Xylocaine gel should help. It is a local anaesthetic and helps penetration. Should be applied at least ten minutes before actual intercourse. The use should be discontinued as soon as both partners are comfortable, else it robs most of the sensations.

    Hi ,
I joined IL last week.It is very informative.

I got married four manths back.ours is a love marriage.
We have been trying from second month for a baby. First time my periods got delayed (40 days)and i had nausea and vomitting from 25 th day. i took blood test for pregnancy. It was positive. But after 42 days i got my periods.

Next month i got my periods regularly. This month again it got delayed till 40 days. I had nausea from 25 thday itself. But this time also on 42 nd day i got my periods.

Both of us get an expectation when it is delayed and i get stressed when i get my peiods.

I have had my periods regularly (26-28 days)before my marriage. It has not got delayed not even once.

Should i go for a check up? or wait and try for some more months....

    Can someone advice me?

Vidhya, I would suggest you go see a doctor. Since it happened to you twice, it's better if you get yourself checked instead of going through the stress the third time. Good luck!
