    Hi Anuja/sumera/zeenat/rehana,

I'm also in a similar kind of dilemma.. my kid is turning 3 in August, but I want to send him to a play school immediately. He is not able to mingle with people easily & cannot stay with a small crowd for longer duration. he's not weak or shy, but he's not able to mingle freely with a group of people. I should be with him, always. I'm staying in Al NAhda dubai & would prefer a play school nearby. Some people gave me options of Li'l Princess & Kids mate. Can you please help me in this matter.

    thanks,

    HI Ammu2006,
I understand your situation totally...some kids take lil time to interact and socialise. Meanwhile try and take him to play areas or parks( of course only if the climate seems to be good :) )...this will make him lil used to crowds and specially with children around him he'll be able to mingle up too. Children generally pick up things looking at others. Secondly if you have friends or neighbours with similar aged kids you can arrange for play dates. This way again he'll be able to know others better and the stranger anxiety he has if any will slowly diminish.
I had been to Lil Princess Nursery in Ghusais and frankly speaking didnt find it very impressive at the first go. I hence delayed enrolling my daughter to a playschool. Eventually she never ever landed in a playschool and i enrolled her in DPS straight away. She's having a good time there especially been a mamma's girl for three years :). She generally used to be at home all day with no friends around but i did take her for a walk to malls or parks or playareas once a week and on weekends so that she gets used to crowds.
So the bottom line here is try and make him more friendly and sociable untill you find a good playschool with few tips from above :) ..... hope the above info will help you a lil....all the best.
