Need salwar embrodiery desgins (includes beads,small pearls,kundan stones)

My choice is Chiffon Georgette or Pure silk cotton

If it is chiffon both light shades and dark shades works out well

Light shaded dresses can be worn in night time and in parties..I personally don't prefer them for receptions or more formal occasions

If it is a light shade then my ranking is:-

1.Baby pink - With silver or light blue work(stone or embroidery or chamki)
2.Pure white - With silver work(stone or embroidery or chamki)
3.Heavenly light blue - With pink or navy blue work(stone or embroidery or chamki)
4.Parrot green - With dark pink work(stone or embroidery or chamki)
5.Peach - Bindi maroon work(stone or embroidery or chamki)

Dark shades:-

1.Pure red - Not the blackish red or maroonish red .. Gold work
2.Bottle green or Godrej green - Orange works or maroon works
3.Navy blue - Silver or white works
4.Violet - with dark pink
5.Orange - with Bottle green or fluorescent green

Above all Black with silver or white

here i am vino. and i want to know that we cant do in normal poonam saree. becoz i am having one plain saree. and u note that silk cotton. in most of the silk cottons there are some designs in it. so we cant do the embroidery or sequiens works in it. so please request me to suggest for myquestions?

Hi vino,

By silk cotton i meant the material in rolls, which we get for blouses and so on in matching centres and other shops like nalli,kumaran..Those are plain materials so we can do any pattern easily...A friend of mine recently got 2.5 metres of silk cotton material and gave for embroidery (not in chennai)..it really came out well...If it had been a ready-made sure would have costed above 1.5K
