I am trying to make a switch to a more low carb + high protein diet. I don't eat meat. I stopped eating rice and only had tomatoes + cauliflower fried in oil instead the past few days. But it was not very filling. I need a tasty recipe (which has high protein content). I want to have the same few meals again and again. It should fill me up as well. Please share if you have any recipes!
Quinoa has high proteins and a healthy food. You can cook this as rice and can eat with any curry just like rice. Or you can make khichidi with quinoa by adding moong dal. It's filling and tastes good. Google for more quinoa recipes.
You can try various salads which includes edamame, tofu, eggs(if you are egg person), black beans/kidney beans, cucumber, cabbage,broccoli, avacados toss them along with cooked quinoa/whole wheat pasta/barley/big size bansi rava/couscous and just drizzle simple olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice dressing..it will be very yummy and filling
