Hi Ladies, I need some info about Vellore and VIT Vellore, what kind of place is it and how far from Chennai? I have a cousin and we are thinking of sending her to VIT Vellore as it has good reputation. But none of our family lives close by and we were wondering how safe VIT Vellore is for girls not from Tamil Nadu. Is it too remote from city and isolated? Also what kind of weather does Vellore has? Please provide some info if you can. Thanks
Deepshika, Hope by now your cousin would be half-way through in her graduation. Vellore is just a few hours from Chennai and Bangalore. A hot place, but manageable. VIT is a good institute. Please share your experience.
