Hi Friends, Need some suggestion for house warming ceremony. My budget is upto Rs. 2000. Also I am new to Chennai. So please help me to find some good gift shop where price is also affordable. I am staying in Madipakkam. Shops around Madipakkam and Velachery also ok.
Since it is for house warming ceremony you could go for lighting decors . There is shop in RamNagar Area (First Floor) on the main road itself . They have good collection of lightings . I had got one recently for my friend's house warming ceremony .
connexions in velachery also has some nice gift articles.. check latha supermarket near koot road too. check lighting waves or latern lite on the mainroad..i think @zingy is talking about lantern lite..
Shanvy , I dont remember the name though I pass by it almost everyday :hide:. I will check it today evening . Note : There is also one near by Vijayanagar bus stand but I find good prize difference between these two (About Rs 100+ for items in range of 400-700) . The one in Ram nagar Area is there from last 1 year .
@zingy do notice. for me it is a habit to take note of what is around, doctors, notary public, new flats everything.. i would gift a plants too, along with the pots, if the family is into gardening or has interest.

You can gift german silver articles like tray, Pooja items etc.. They look really classy.. I recently got one from a nearby Jewellery shop for house warming ceremony of my friend. You can also search for them online
