    Hi Ladies,

I have a 4 yr old and she loves eating chapati/roti. I always have the dough in my fridge, but mostly it is plain dough. I need tips for using this dough to make decked up chapatis or something else as part of her breakfast which can be made in a jiffy.

    Thanks in advance.

Rajni, I know that mixing avocado in dough makes the rotis interesting; try that out.
Other than that, I am not sure how to make it well without stuffing inside (that will become paratha!)

Lot of options are there when making the dough you can add any of the following with chilli powder and salt to taste.
Avocado ( this is my fav)
    Spring onion
    Mint leaves
    Radish/Carrot grated
    Jeera
    Methi leaves

    Hi,
Use spreads like Jam, nutella, or make her a wrap with subzis, mashed dal, vegetable purees, roll like a frankie with her favourite stuffings or simple mashed aloo, shredded carrot, paneer or any/all vegetable(s). The key is variety in presentation.

    You can add
minced (grated) cauliflower, cabbage, carrot to the flour and mix it make chappathis.
If you had already mixed plain dough the you can stuff with these things like...
boiled and mashed potato, peas, moong dal
grated panner mixed with coriander leaves ,salt and little green chilies paste.

List goes unending.. you can make anything.

For sweeter version....make powder of dry roasted peanuts, seasame and jaggery. Stuff that in chapati...serve with ghee on top ...yum

I usually add grated carrots, or if I have some leftover dhal I mix it into the dough while kneading it. My DS also loves matter roti (boiled, mashed peas) and roti with jeera and salt with jam. The only thing I don't add are chillies.
    HTH.
