This year Navratri went well though I had health problems . Devi blessed me in all the 9 days.I didnot want trouble my husband because he also has health problems . On the day before Navratri started from 11am I started in between I had lunch and till 2 or so it went on. Since there is no place kept in the show case only where we keep TV. As it is there were idols in the show case. Two day's before only maid helped in clearning the show case and keeping the idols. Before Navratri I decorated the vilakku with Ambal mugam. My close friendhad given my a saree for my birthday and the blouse piece was a big one . So tied pavadai for Devi. This Devi was given by my brother in law's dil last year. I had earlier Durga mugam given by IL friend many years back. I had to first set up the steps with cardboard box and books. Kept 3 steps. This year's attraction was the idols given by my brother as he and my sis in law are not well , brother gave the idols to me. On the first step first kept Kumbam Rama, Sita, Lakshmana and Hanumar , then two sets of Marapachi, one dressed with nine yards and dhoti and other Reception dress . Then Radha Krishna idol. Lord Krishna and 3 Ganeshjis
Next step Horses, Lakshmi, Saraswati and Ganeshji Siva Lingam. On the 3rd step Animals, Chettiar etc.

Morning used to go to friend's houses who called me and evenings friends used to come. So all nine days was very busy. On Sunday whole days was busy but due to Devi's blessings was not tired at all. Morning my husband's brother's dil and grandson came from Pune. Dil said she is fasting so made Sabudana for her , pongal for breakfast for us. She left after an hour and I wen tto a friends house and from there to temple and came home by 2 pm. Then had to make chundal for the evening. My brother in law's family were coming in the evening and his dil likes Sevai and grand daughter dosa , so made Sevai for her and also to take and she said they had that only in the night. Many others also came. Night we went for a programme and cam eback only at 11.30 pm and I slept only at 1 a.m. Did not have proper sleep but so next day was tired but somehow managed. Had invited a relative for lunch, so made Pal payasam, Mor kuzambhu, avial , rassam and papad. Next day also my husband's niece and her sil came and had lunch.. This year 3 days wore new sarees gifted by a friend, my sister and my daughter's friend for my birthday. Usuallyfollow the colours for nine days but this year had not kept ready so wore any colour. Morning had to make some sweet and evening chundal. this year tried carrot payasam. All those who invited came except one or two. Some ladies whom I had called on the way they also came. Today also had gone to two houses for haldi kumkum.There was not much time t g and buy provisions som edays and Sometimes while going out in the morning used to buy but only samanthi was there. I was thinkin gno batata but when i went to market I could buy batata. One relative gave Agarbathi stand thugh no Agarbathi and next day my close friend brought Agarbathi. Devi helped me through out. She asked me do you need anything, told her to buy rava and aval and she brought.

First I was feeling how I will manage but by Devi's blessings everything went well.
