    This one too looks very appetising and I too want to share one such recipe with you.



    Hi Shiva,
    I am sharing with you this recipe of low calorie madhu vadas, or you can call ulid dal, Black gram bondas.
    Soak ulid dal for ½ an hour and then drain the water well and leave it for 15 to 20 mins. Then grind it preferably in grinder. And then add finely chopped onion or cabbage green chillies, coriander leaves, curry leaves and salt to taste.
    Now we require this kuzhipanikaram ‘tava’ ( it is a tava with 7 hole where you can pour the dough in each hole, a good non-stick is avaliable in marketI am attaching its photos, this one is made with stone, you get non-stick ones too.
    Just pour 1 tsp oil in all the holes and then take little dumplings of the above paste and put one in each hole and cook on both side till brown and crispy.
    Hope this one too will be of use to weight watchers.

    You can try the above koftas in this pan or tava it will come round.

    You know I have seen this tawa in market and I have also eaten those small round idlies but never for the life of me could I imagine that it will be so good for less oil cooking.

    Thank god its available here and I am buying it pronto.
