    Recently in Raj tv Penn programme Ms Sarojini taught this art using shilpakar.I have tried that .Please send your comments.

    For you people Sudha madam this is quite easy.You need shil...pacar clay

    gold paint and brushes.

    1Mix two clays

    2Make one big ball for belly.Make one smaller ball for head.Make 4 still smaller ball for hands and legs

    Place the head above the belly.Roll the other 4 balls and form thilakam shape ie one end shold be tapery. Give them slight curve at the ends.use two for legsand place them on either side of the belly.place the other two on either side just below the head.make dhoti with thin sheet of shilpacarMake earsand place them in the correct place.Using refill of the ball pen make holes for eyes.Draw streks forvoboodhi pattai.Make a cylinder for dhavil.Have I explained or confused?Same produre for nadhaswaram.

    M seal or chemical clay can also be used Vijaya. Wish they should be available in Dubai. Here in India they are available even in hardware shops.
