lakshmi, thanks dearie..all the encouragement should make her practise this more.. with her holiday homework loads, i want her to pick the brush only when she wants to relax...

 

Saby dear, you know what, after reading your post i went back to check the source i gave her..it was another painting and she has done a decent job of replicating the original(?) work, and i should not question it. actually she wanted to try to draw watching the sea view from our balcony here..but it was me who asked her to start with simple examples, and then move forward to live ones..

hope she practises more..

 

Hema, no ji yaar..makes me feel too old(?) i am just in my new 20's according to something i recently read..

thanks thanks a lot.. i too hope she does it.. i believe all this will help her when she needs to destress as she moves into lifeeeeeeeeeeeeee in the real sense

thanks megz.. she does not think she is talented..even am a novice..but still find that something missing and that was the reason i had to come back here to ask people for their opinions..

no she does not have any formal training or has taken any course..it is something, i have been encouraging her to do, to utilize the free time that they get.especially when we visit my husband and he is at office the weekdays.. teaching them new stuff for the vacations..
