hi mybaby1,

i actually scrub it thoroughly all over and leave it on for just 2-3 minutes...you will observe it getting dried (just initial stages of drying up) and then wash it offf....as i said i take bath only in cold water..now,if it is hot water it is easy to remove the dried besan..but as its cold water i don't leave it too long..well,its just your convenience and patience....no harm it leaving it as such for sometime.

Great tip spinedhu.. I also use besan+curd+ turmeric but i am not regular so could not see any difference.

I will try to start using it daily

hi all,

am glad to see few encouraging replies.....one more piece of info. this it seems is done before marriage!!!(in north India) so that the bride and the groom will look great(special) during the marriage....i am not so sure of this information(just heard)

but one problem of mine(of course skin problem)has not been solved...black heads on my nose...my mom says taking steam does help...yes it did help but,the effects are only for a few days..my problem reverts back..so can anybody please tell me what to do???
